If you need help with drums, drum knowledge or anything drum related, he is the dude to go to. I have been playing drums over 25 years and I'm glad to have someone like Rudy close by to help me out. I'm a death metal and grindcore drummer and he has always helped me get more extreme and reliable heads and gear. He just moved his shop so go there amd buy awesome stuff! Best drum shop around!

This is the Place. Rudy and Chris have been very polite with the new 68 year old Drummer.nnAnnika Nilles proved to be a great inspiration with her studio concert.nnPlay On.
I wish I had the opportunity to meet the other employees because Rudy was rather rude. He scoffed when I told him how much I enjoy the sound of my inexpensive snare drum. He acted pretentious and name dropped like a braggart. If you're on a budget and like used and vintage gear I highly recommend The Trading Musician.
Chris Hawkins is one of the nicest, moat knowledgeable drums of any drum store I've ever been to! Great selection of new and vintage drums as well as unique accessories. I live in North Carolina and just passed through on my way on a cruise. Can't recommend this guy enough!!! I've visited Dale's in PA, Drum Center Portsmouth, and The Drum Shop Portland Maine.
