Amber Door Day Spa

This is the only place I go to get my nails done nowadays.. I love nail art and get all that bling bling on my nails. So, I have Jenny (the nail technician), she did my nails today and it was phenomenal!! So Amazing!! I show her what designs I wanted for my nails and also add some of my own thoughts and colors. We tried out a few things and she was super nice and patient with me. Thank you Jenny!!! Xoxo

I had a great experience at this spa. I loved my pedicure the most because it was top quality. Comfortable, amazing quality too.. my feet look and feel great!

8/31/19nLana was my nail Technician today.nEver since this new salon opened it's doors in the new Rockville Town Center, I have been meaning to try it out.nnThis place was also theee dallors cheaper and had more technicians who could cater to clients needs... unlike The Rockville Mavana.nnI was greeted by a sister who had the looks Asian and African American decent in her. I don't see this two offten so it's very nice to see. She called over someone to assist me, because she was working on someone else.nnThe store owner is obviously inspired by Audrey Hepburn. There is a picture of Audrey Hepburn and her motto is posted on the entrance wall. The spa is nicely stylized in white and black. The look reminds me of one other salon I visited, but not as busy as this salon.nnAt the time I went to the salon, I was the only client there (from what I saw) who wasn't Asian. Still, after some talking in their native language, Lana showed up after her name was called several times.nnI was sitting in the last booth near the long hallway where the wax rooms, massage rooms and bathrooms are located. Lana opened up a new pack of tools before she started my manicure. I like this, because I don't see this to offten. The nail filer was even new too. The last place I was at, the nail technician used a nail filer the was used on me before she threw it out after me. I will be asking for a new nail filer going forwards.nnLooking around, I thought about moving back to Maryland, but I also thought about Seattle and Canada too. These thoughts crossed my mind as Lana worked on.my nails.nnAmber Door Day Spa did a decent job even if it takes me 20 minutes to drive to this location.nI know I will be back to try out their waxing, pedicure and massage, but not in that order. It's just as matter of when.

Very pleasant experience. The nail techs do high quality work—exactly what I had been looking for. Candy did my manicure and she did a phenomenal job. She’s very meticulous and that’s a big deal for me. Lana did my pedicure. She’s new, but also did a very nice job. I will definitely come back. Excellent service!
