Gethsemane Cemetery

This is the worst place ever, very bad maintained, they never cut my moms grass until we complain about it several times. we’ve had to cut the grass on our own. The people here are absolutely no help!! they put no interest in anything. Our things we bring disappear all the time they literally throw my moms flowers and take the vases. I regret having my mom here.

Today is my Mothers birthday.She was a Leap Year baby..The stone with my mother and fathers name and picture was missing from their Niche where their ashes are.. The Company took it out to do some work on the wall..My 6 siblings and I are very upset..Why not work on it, but put it back , even if they are not done with the project??? They did NOT contact the Family about their renovation plans. WE PAID A LOT OF MONEY FOR THIS!!!! SO inconsiderate..I talked to the superintendent.. Then i asked for his supervisor to call me on Monday... He was giving me the runaround. Something about he was here only 7 years. WE DO NOT want to hear some * life history*!!I asked him how he would feel if this happened to him..The guy has a power trip..HE SHOULD BE FIRED!!!! Needless to say....these people are heartless! Just a business to them...SHAME ON THEM!!!!..I will complain to the Archdioces of Seattle!!!!

Warning to people who decides to put up their own cemetery ground vase in Gethsemane Cemetery. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT! We had a painful experience that will stick with the family forever. Our big mistake: we decided to buy vase outside of Gethsemane, set it up for Memorial Day for my Mom and Dad in good conscience as an expression of love and honor to our parents. After enjoying it for two weeks we were horrified to find out that the 2 vases were gone and we even brought a bunch of flowers. We were angry that someone must have stolen the vases - until we called the Gethsemane office and found out that THEY REMOVED THE VASES WITHOUT TELLING US. We were flatly told without any apology that they don't allow digging and it's their cemetery. Just wondering what domain we have after owning the lot for 7 years. A simple call before they make their action to reiterate our mistake will suffice. Instead, WE FELT DISRESPECTED AND UNIMPORTANT. A very disappointing feeling knowing with peace of mind. that we chose a Catholic cemetery to have a final resting place for our beloved parents.nMay the Lord fill our hearts with love and forgiveness.

I have a relative buried in this cemetery, it is a very well maintained but tranquil park like setting.

Hope the thieves experience what they should for desecrating the dead no good
