Always changing selection so you want to get there early and often if you are looking to fill a particular space. The work they do refinishing is fantastic though as is their eye. The pieces here are fantastic. As well they are great to work with, fair negotiators and friendly and accommodating with deliveries. Really pleased with the nightstands I got.

I have purchased several pieces from Steve and David and I can't say enough about their professionalism and skill in giving these wonderful MCM pieces a new life. They have an eye for procuring and refinishing the most gorgeous and unique pieces. I can't recommend them enough.

This is by far, the best place in Richmond to find fabulous MCM furniture! I accidentally discovered them after a random Google search, stopped by their space, and was hooked! We have now bought multiple pieces from David and Steve, and will need a bigger house, if we keep going back! The quality of the pieces they bring in, are top notch, and you would be hard pressed to find nicer examples of MCM furniture, in the entire RVA area. David does all the refinishing and restoration work himself, and is an expert at it. I have one piece, purchased from a different shop, and the refinishing work was very sub-par, compared to David's work. They are both so knowledgeable about the furniture, and happy to share any information they have on the pieces. It is a joy to work with them, storage and delivery is a breeze, prices are great, and they are both just wonderful people! I cannot say enough good things about Urban Dwellers. Do yourself a favor, if you have any interest in MCM furniture, and stop by one weekend. You will NOT be disappointed!!!

I went in over the weekend, had shopped here prior and had great experiences, my parents actually come here regularly. But this past experience the owner was rude and down right disrespectful. Wont being coming here ever again. If you are looking for a comparable store I recommend class n trash or tinkers, they are both family run and hold themselves to much higher standards
