Terrible service. Made a reservation for a hitch install 2 weeks prior. The day before they cancel saying they don't do 3rd party hitch installs even though it is THE SAME part as they sell.nCanceled with 1 day notice. Do not use this UHail site. Terrible service, unresponsive and highly unsympathetic.
They attempted to install a bent hitch on my car and fortunately failed. Just wasted my time in the meanwhile.
We called U-Haul to confirm drop off of a car trailer. They said yes. We then called the location the day before (didn’t have to, but wanted to be nice and give a heads up) to double check - an associate said yes. We show up and the owner says he doesn’t take them and walks away from me within 5 seconds (literally). I was then told I had to drive to another location - costing me miles, gas money, and time. A real gong show with poor management.
Great, fast, cheap hitch installation. Charged me less than originally quoted. Engaging, friendly customer service. Plus, LIFETIME warranty on the hitch, even if it is damaged in an accident?! Awesome. I almost didn't go here because of the google reviews but honestly did not have a single issue from ordering on the phone to completion of the service. I would recommend, and go here again.
The young man working there was very courteous to me. Location is right next to Costco for a cheap refuel before return. Great selection of trucks and availability — rented one on a snow day so there are lots of trucks available. The truck I got looks very clean and new. Got the electronic receipt before I drove away. Overall very good experience.
