My mother died at home, unexpectedly, of heart failure. She was in her 80s but we certainly didn’t expect that, on that day. Pierce Funeral Home drove from Manassas to Caroline County, VA with no reluctance whatsoever (it’s a long drive) to pick up my mother’s body up (on my family’s grieving timetable). They were as patient and professional as anyone could ever have hoped for. When I say our timetable, I mean it was really hard, for all of us that had gathered, to see her body removed from my parent’s home. Especially for my dear sweet Dad. Pierce handled her service five days later, as well as transportation to Quantico National Cemetery two days after the Service. Every single thing that they did was way beyond my family’s expectations. I won’t go in to detail, but they work miracles. I am eternally grateful to them for everything surrounding my mother’s death and the services that they provided. I highly recommend them, and if we/when we face another death in our family, if we are still in this area, we will absolutely use Pierce as the funeral home we choose.ud83cudf37
