Ordered a few items yesterday. I am a regular here for their pastries, but was 1st time trying their stir fried stuff, big mistake!nnScramble creamy egg with beef Chow Fun noodles 滑蛋牛河 was terrible, both in presentation and taste. The beef was in big chewy chunks, hardly any egg, where’s the creamy egg sauce? Their cook needed some retraining for sure, and their cafe, restaurant? Need some serious consideration for better and correct ingredients for real authentic Chinese food, not American Chinese food.
It was one of my favorite bakeries. I often go to this bakery to buy cakes for my family or friends. And today, I was waiting in cake corner with old couple behind me, and two young ladies were busy with the customers so I moved to the line at cashier line. One of young lady employee served the old couple behind me at the cake corner so I moved again to cake corner. I was waiting until they finished to served their customer and one of them ask me to GET IN LINE!!!! I told her that I was in line before and she skipped me and served the old couple behind me. Instead of she said sorry, I heard her angry voice when she served me!!! I was to leave this store but my kids wanted their cake. Dear Regent bakery, you lost one of your loyal customers!!!!
Best cakes in the area, full stop. Whether it is green tea, taro, mango cream, or any of the others, you will not go wrong with these cakes.
Went to the shop today around 4:50pm. I bought 3 cakes, 1 wife cake and I was going to buy the Swiss Roll that was in front of the display section. However, the employee I asked to grab the Swiss Roll in front of the display section refused to get it for me. She indicated that it is inconvenient for her to do her job which is serving the customer. I told her if it is inconvenient for her then I will not buy it. She said it is ok. I am waiting for the 85 Bakery to open so this will not be the only choice to buy cakes and breads from. Will not come here for a long long time.
