I adore this little shop. I discovered their far above average gluten free treats years ago and was so impressed that we used them for our wedding. Even our non-gluten free friends and family were going for these over the cake. The coconut cupcakes and all of the bars are my favorites.nBut this was the first time I got the chocolate raspberry cake and I’m in heaven.

First off, there are some harsh critics in Kirkland!!! I have been coming here since they opened, and as someone who is gluten free and vegan, I am so pleased that this place exists and the fact that their cupcakes are AMAZING is just a bonus. I also buy non vegan cupcakes for friends and family, and everyone is always pleased. Wide variety of flavors, beautifully decorated, nice employees working there.. I don’t know what the issue could be with these 1 and 2 star reviews. Oh, let’s see.. cupcakes don’t have the same texture as Safeway? Duh. They’re gluten free. Someone said it was a specialty store in multiple ways? Yes, it is. Good job. That’s a complaint how?? You’re mad cuz you don’t pay attention to what’s right in front of you and they charged you $.50 for using your credit card? Your fault bro. It’s a small business and that is a normal practice.nMy point is, this place is great and deserves more than 3.5 stars. Kirkland folks are difficult to begin with, and it seems those are the ones who like to leave reviews. Thank you Sweet Cakes for years of delicious cupcakes and great service!!

I barely ever write google reviews but this is my absolute favorite cupcake place ever. I usually hate cupcakes but this place is AMAZING, redeemed cupcakes in general for me. The snickerdoodle one was amazing. The red velvet ones were the best red velvets cupcakes I've had.nI've also had a small cake from here but to me it wasn't as great as the cupcake. The build was adorable and well designed though.

Pretty good cupcakes! I enjoyed the chocolate, coconut and red velvet cupcakes. The strawberry and vanilla ones were less than desirable, hence the lower rating. I will be coming back as the cupcakes were flavorful but not overwhelming and the staff were friendly!

I went here for the first time today. It was pass 6 pm when I got the desserts. The Oreo frosted cupcake was super fresh still. One of the best cupcakes I've eaten. There's alot of choices to choose from.
