ILL ALWAYS SUPPORT OUR LOCAL POLICE OFFICERS!! ALL OFFICERS ARE POLITE AND IVE NEVER ENCOUNTERED A RUDE OFFICER. THANK U GUYS AGAIN FOR YOUR SERVICE.nHOWEVER ..ON ANOTHER NOTE.nI am a school bus driver and travel all over the town. As you are aware we have RED STOP LIGHTS AND SIGNS that are constantly passed on the daily. It's a daily battle that us drivers have to fight. Children are almost getting ran over due to others drivers irresponsibility. If it wasnt for the training we give our bus kids on how to safely and properly cross the street , these children would be in trouble. Long story short.. there are times when people pass our REDS and there are officers right behind them or in the area and very well see them pass our stop signs. So if u could please...please help us out and nab these people who pass our STOP SIGNS. It's very irritating and dangerous. You guys helping out in this way would be..AMAZING!!!

HPD officers (in my experiences) definitely take their job seriously and aren't the type to let their badge go to their head. Very helpful and understanding people ud83eudd20

have been pulled over by these guys a few times for minor stuff (headlight, taillight, one time my vehicle matched the description of one they was looking for) I have always been treated more than fair. The other day I was pulled over for a headlight out (my old truck eats bulbs for breakfast) and I had somehow forgot my wallet which I honestly never do. My insurance card was also just out of date. I had a rifle with me and I informed the officer and he was cool about everything. Hands down one the nicest officers I have ever encountered. He only gave me warnings for everything. Big shout out to this guy for sure. With all the hate on law enforcement these days I want to say thank you to all the Hobbs Police Officers, y'all stay safe out there.

They are always there when I need them. If I'm at fault or not. When I feel like a bother or burden, thinking they have better things to do, they always come and make me feel safe secure and important like they are glad that I called.
