She loved Lake Placid and her estate fought hard to get the approval for the mausoleum memorial. As was Kate, it's beautiful! It respectfully reflects her love of God and Country. A must see for anyone who has ever heard her sing God Bless America. Take the scenic boat tour of Lake Placid and see her summer house on Buck Island. Their's even a street named after her at the intersection of Olympic and Hillcrest. May she rest in peace.ud83cuddfaud83cuddf8
