I am so disappointed in American Alarm.nnI had an account with American Alarm for several years. When we wanted to cancel our account, I was given the hardest time. Initially, I gave my request and the person I communicated with said we were all set--that the account was deactivated.nnTwo months later I received a bill for a full year's amount.nnI got on the phone, spoke with another representative who looked back at my account, saw I had cancelled, and charged me for the portion of the year I had received services. Again, I thought all was fine.nnA month later, I received yet ANOTHER BILL for the remainder of the year (everything I hadn't paid the month before) as if my account was still active.nnNow my credit has been affected, since the amount due on the bill is significantly overdue.nnAmerican Alarm: not reliable.
