I rented a truck from this location for Sunday pickup. It was the only available Sunday pickup in the region. I reserved on the Penske official web site and received an email confirmation; my reservation was made at 12:30 Saturday for a 5 p.m. Sunday pickup and nothing in the confirmation, or in the reservation process, indicated I would need to re-confirm with the site. I drove 2.5 hours with a friend who was going to help lift heavy furniture, with a family member following after work. When we arrived at what ended up being a gas station to pick up the reserved truck, the clerk was shocked to hear we were there for a rental, and made some hurried phone calls, explaining that the only truck had been rented to someone else that very morning but would likely be back that evening. When he opened their information system my reservation was right there. Ten minutes later we learned the truck would not be returning that night, and no other trucks were available, because it was Sunday. The only thing right about the whole experience was the clerk himself, who was not at fault and was very embarrassed and apologetic. So.... not recommended.
