Update 3/11/21: Went in today because I'm getting ambitious and starting from seed this year. Left feeling encouraged after speaking with a couple employees who shared tips, saved me some money on things I didn't need, and were in general very helpful! Bordine's is still my go-to nursery.nnI'm just now getting into the gardening game, and Bordine's in Rochester is a mecca. So much beautiful stuff, both plants, pots, and even patio furniture. Very nice stuff, not cheap. This is now my go to for gardening. Also had very friendly, knowledgeable staff.
The place has all possible plants you need to plant in your garden. It is also pretty budget friendly where you can get plants starting $5. Loved how huge the space is. The staff is friendly and helpful. Would definitely suggest visiting this place in spring.
Always a great place to shop. Especially when you are ready to start in Spring or early Summer. I've always got the perrineals and rose plants. Not everyone working here knows much about the plants on sale but I usually do my own research before getting here.
I like going to Bordine’s. Always something interesting to find. New plants, new bird something, new planters. Plus I can get all the care products there too.
ALWAYS a fun, happy place to browse & buy!!! This time of year...ESPECIALLY with the Covid lockdown...all the flowers, plants, statuary...and MY 'weakness'...the awesome SOCKS. YES, socks...and the BEST Kitchen towels...for gifting...or to treat yourself!!! Pleasant & knowledgeable staff!!! SHOP LOCAL, It MATTERS!!
