Furnished my renovated 1798 Virginia log cabin with cherry and pine furniture shipped from Shaker Furniture of Maine and I could not be more happy.nnOwner Steve Celona worked with me on dimensions that would fit up a narrow and very old stairwell, and communicated with me back and forth as I explored ideas for every room of the cabin. The result is stunning.nnShipping from Maine was affordable and executed perfectly. Everything arrived wrapped and carefully packed and a friendly driver from Gray, Maine, Jay, helped me and my crew offload the packed vehicle in less than an hour.nnThe entire effort to furnish this unique Shenandoah Valley cabin from first contact to delivery was only a month-long lead time. Amazing!nnBeautifully crafted furniture from Maine now adorns my newly renovated log cabin farm, and I can only conclude by saying: Shaker Furniture of Maine has me forever as one happy customer !nnThank you! The furniture seems good and solid, but 3 of the 5 pieces we ordered came wrong. The clothes tree came with a broken hook, the wardrobe came without a clothes rod and the pantry was supposed to be black on the outside and natural on the inside, but it came all black. It took another week to correct the 3 pieces. If I ever go back (I was told I have a bad attitude), I need to plan on delays for holidays and humidity.

My husband and I were looking for nightstands that were solid wood, made in Maine or at least made in the United States that were somewhat affordable. I don't know how I have missed this place! The furniture is beautiful, there is a huge selection in a variety of price points. The wood has been carefully selected for grain and color match, we were very impressed with the quality for the price. We had just missed the owner Steve but Joe was there and very helpful in helping us pick out the right pieces and load a very heavy, cumbersome dresser into our car (somehow that jumped in with the night stands ;)nI am looking forward to visiting again.
