The best donuts in town. Always have been and always will be. The menu has slightly shrunk and a few donuts have been discontinued, but they still have that hot chocolate for a cold day. You've got to get there early if you want them donut holes because they seem to be sold out first.
I stopped in while in town on business. The donuts are great, but it's difficult to figure out what they have when ordering through the drive through, which is the only way to buy right now. There is no menu posted anywhere, so when you get to the window, you're forced to ask what they have, which greatly slows down the process. Hoping they open up soon to walk in traffic
The BEST donuts, I am a danville native but now live 5 hours away and still after trying many shops have found these to be my favorite! They catered for our wedding and were GREAT! I have seen lots of changes in the almost 20 years I remember royal donut, they’ve narrowed down a lot of their flavors but still can’t beat the chocolate eclair and the chocolate yeast with sprinkles! A MUST stop in Vermilion County!
I order a few donuts, most was ok but my glazed donuts only has glaze around the outer part of the donut. About 1/2 in wide. No glaze on any other part of the donut. This is the 3 time I have gotten glazed donuts there with JUST OUTSIDE RING GLAZED! I will not be buying my donut there anymore. If they are so cheap that they can not glaze the whole donut, then I'll go to Dunkin donuts. I would give them a 0 if I could.
Like royaldounut shops the ice cookies r great and fresh donuts r always great
