While I ended up purchasing elsewhere, Hometown was exceptionally helpful in refunding my credit card on an order. It was for a chest freezer and I knew while ordering that it may take several weeks to arrive. I kept looking and found one elsewhere on about the same day Hometown contacted me that my order had arrived. They were gracious and understood my situation and refunded my credit card promptly. I will be shopping with them in the future.

I ordered a freezer from them in june, I was told it wouldn't be until the 5th of july, I waited no call from them to say it has come in, it is the 18th of September, still no freezer, I call or show up in the store to check on if they have date it will be there, I'm either told a future date or they know nothing. I have always loved buying from Sears in the past, but this has not been a good experience! They haven't called me once, I always have to call them or go to store to check on it. Poor customer service I think.
