The Thompson family and their staff served our family with a spirit of excellence. They not only were present for the local services but also drove 4 hours to the graveside service. The funeral director that attended the graveside service had never met our family, yet spoke in such a way that made everyone in attendance feel like he had been part of our family for years.nnWe shopped several funeral homes before being referred here by a family member. The staff here was among the kindest, more options were available, and pricing was far more affordable.nnWhile we hope to not have to go through another funeral anytime soon, it’s reassuring to know we have a local option that treats their customers like family.nnWell done!
My experience with Martin Thompson and Son funeral home has been very positive. Unfortunately, we have had three members of our family pass away in the last eighteen months and Martin Thompson and Son have handled the arrangements for all three funerals. The entire staff is professional and efficient. They helped us get though these very difficult situations and we appreciate their effort. We are very pleased with their service and highly recommend them.

We recently needed the services of Martin Thompson & Son Funeral home and I cannot express how much we were impressed with their staff's authentic sincerity, compassion and professionalism.nMy father’s recent arrangements and burial at the DFW National veteran’s cemetery went seamlessly because of Martin Thompson and Son Funeral Home. We knew my father’s health was declining so my mom and our siblings met with Martin to plan, in the event of need, ahead of time, fill out paperwork and find out more about the process of burial at the Veterans cemetery in Grand Prairie. At the meeting we pre-selected a casket and talked about all of the many details, down to the number of death certificates needed. Martin took an incredible amount of time to explain everything. Little did we know that Dad would pass away the next day. Because of the amount of time, care, compassion and pre-planning Martin gave my family when we met, when we lost our loved one we could focus on the grieving processes during a very difficult time, knowing the details had been decided in advance.nI highly recommend the services of Martin Thompson and his son, Jon.
0 stars they don’t respect Anything gave my family member a open casket visitation and she wanted a closed visitation but I was disgusted to see the body they didn’t do her hair I was sick to my stomach for hours after seeing that how dare you!!!
