I always love VCA West Mesa Animal Hospital. My favorite position there is Doctor Cameron boss my fur babies get along with him tremendously well but that's only because of his demeanor with them he will stop to take the time to interact with them and talk to them and be gentle with them before he ever does any kind of an exam. He realizes the importance of your babies being like your children, and he's very focused on making the patient as well as the parents of the patient feel at ease. Although West Mesa VCA is a bit more on the expensive side it's worth the extra Buck just for the care that you receive. If I had to recommend a pet hospital this would be the 1!

I called to make an appointment and was able to get in the next day. The woman who answered the phone was very helpful and kind. The female vet assistant that came out to explain the process and to take my sweet girl (cat) in was very knowledgeable. Doctor Voss I have never met in person but he was really good and professional with the whole process over the phone. Doctor Voss even called the next day to see how My sweet girl was. That is amazing! I definitely recommend VCA West Mesa Hospital.

I had to have my cat euthanized. They were very caring and loving at a hard time. And the vet was very thorough, and helpful about my choices and the expenses involved beforehand. Actually, the euthanizing was the most loving I had ever experienced. They had a separate darkened room with a comfortable couch where you could be with your pet for a while. Thank you, VCA. And especially veterinarian, Anna Brown!

It was only my third time at this location. I must say, they were COVID-19 prepared. Taking precautions like closing the waiting room and having families wait in their cars. Having the staff come to the car and notate concerns and reasons for the visit. Parking spots were numbered so you could call in your parking spot number to check in. I only wish they would've communicated ALL these changes and protocols to me during the confirmation call so I was prepared rather than getting out of my car and reading it alongside their windows. The vet tech who came to the car was great and answered all my questions. My fur baby seemed to like her too. The vet called me during her evaluation and we discussed her findings in detail, which I appreciated. She also offered to get me a brochure on what was discussed during our phone call to take home. When it came to the last woman I interacted with at checkout, I felt almost like an inconvenience when I asked questions and rushed. I didn't get the brochure so I called after I left to get the info so I could read up on it and felt I had to apologize for bothering her and explain. Maybe she was having a bad day but I don't think anyone should have to explain "why" they're asking questions regarding their fur babies care. I do plan to continue to come here because overall the visit was good. The purpose of this review is to give them feedback to help them get better at what they do.

Awesome staff, they were very helpful, attentive and kind. Even thru this covid crisis they got us in and out. The doctor called us gave us our dogs diagnosis, treatment and after care. They were quick and efficient definitely would recommend and refer my friends and family.
