Good People. Family Owned . Good Quality Furniture.
Their prices were a little to high for my liking, we found just abt the very same furniture just a few miles from them, and it was 50to1000 dollars difference in pricing...saleslady was extremely helpful and sweet, tried her best to satisfy my daughter in selling her a sectional, the warehouses are 5to10weeks getting it to them...so we got our money back and went elsewhere...at the Market Mill in Pickens...Hoping you find what you are looking for ...just shop around The SmithClan
It has been over a year since i called Shipleys about repairing my reclining loveseat. They came to my house twice and said they would have to order parts. The last time they came was about six months ago(only after numerous calls ,texts and trips to the store). Now they will not return my calls and texts. I can only assume that after over a year that they do not intend on ever repairing my loveseat. I gave them one star because i can't give them zero star.
Good quality furniture. Very helpful sales staff. Some interesting and ecclectic pieces also.
Remember the commercials where auto dealers in the smaller towns offer better prices and service. Shipleys is truly a well priced furniture store with outstanding customer service and design assistance (Thank you Kent)! Always great to support a local store with long standing employees vs the big box. Could not be more satisfied with our purchases.
