Jason and team did a great job on our kitchen remodel, and Jason was very communicative throughout the entire process.

As a non-biased opinion about the review posted by Kathy Cramer, I feel I must state the truth about what I had observed. First of all if George Cramer had told the truth in court the claim would not be awarded. He did not admit that he did receive the final breakdown of the balance of deposit to be reimbursed- before the deadline. It took awhile to get the final breakdown as materials were to be returned had to be loaded, freight to California, some to Georgia, Portland and Seattle.nNot to mention the inconveniences that were caused after it took almost 3 months in the selections of types of materials and colors. They kept changing their minds. Finally, when everything was shipped to the location, ready for install, she changed her mind because she realized she had made wrong selections of designs and colors. Then she started complaining about the back splashes, counter tops, bathrooms and floor tiles. Which we spell out very carefully about dye lot variations to the point its in a legal document signed by them. Oh by the way, all the jobs where assigned to different subcontractors. Not just 1 installer She wanted to make changes after the back splashes were already installed.nWhen we told her these changes be additional work orders and would have to be paid in addition she want the work for free. As an observer, I must say I have seen people try to make others pay for their bad taste in materials. I feel sorry for Floor Connections/Jason having to deal with such customers.

I don’t usually post reviews online. But, if I can save one person from the nightmare I went through then it will be worth it. FLOOR CONNECTIONS located at 507 E MAIN STREET, BATTLE GROUND, WA is by far the worst company that I have ever had the misfortune to work with. The only reason I have given them one star is because I’m required to, so I can post a review. Due to Floor Connections subpar/shoddy work, price gouging and shady business practices I was forced to file a claim against them with the Oregon Contractors Board. In addition, I filed a Small Claims suit in Clackamas County (the County where the work was performed) that eventually went before a Circuit Court Judge. The Judge ruled in my favor and I was awarded a judgement in the amount of $10,585.52. The owners of Floor Connections (Jason Aw and Poh Aun Aw) never acknowledged the judgement, so I therefore had to file a claim against their surety bond in order to get paid. Their insurance company paid the claim.nMy suggestion to anyone reading this is run as fast as you can from Floor Connections and find a reliable and legitimate company for your flooring needs.

Good prices. Horrendous customer service. Communication is non existent between the management and their installers, and to their customers. Was told job would take one day. It was done piece meal. Still haven't finished their job. I do not recommend them. Sadly not because they did a poor install, rather because it was like pulling teeth getting things done as promised.
