This guy, James...is an unprofessional blood sucker! I didn't like his attitude from the start. After giving him exact room/closet measurements plus EXACT carpet and padding I want, he hems and haws, and tells me that the estimate he will give can go up $200 by the days end. I told him we were not talking precious metals here that fluctuates depending on the market. He went ahead and called back with a ridiculously high cost. Then in the middle of the conversation, springs on an extra charge for tearing out old carpet AND a moving cost if he has to move furniture around!! What a piece of work!! Home Depot, here I come! Already had estimate from them. They don't charge for tear out and moving a piece of furniture around.
