I was not at Strait Music. I was at the Brothers Gemini. Five stars for Brothers Gemini.
Strait Music had my friends 1942 Martin guitar and a standup bass in for repairs, and an acquaintance of my friend went to Strait Music and said the instruments were his. Said he'd purchased them from my friend, Ron Erny. He lied. His name is Melvin. A guy walked in off the street, laid claim to another mans property (that had belonged to his father who passed away less than a year ago!), and no I'm sorry or any offer of compensation, or responsibility for what transpired. Unbelievable. Marty told Mr. Erny he would like to help him but didn't see how he could be much help. Two family heirlooms just given to some guy off the street who found a fool to believe his lies. This is going to be a costly error on the part of Strait Music, because they are liable for replacing both instruments. Anybody know where to get a 1942 Martin guitar? How much for a standup bass? Better figure it out Marty.
Great crew, very helpful, and Leo really knows guitars.
