My wife booked me a one hour massage as a birthday present a while back here. The massage started 10 minutes late but I was assured I would get the full hour. However, they actually stopped at the 45 minute mark. With the changing, the actual hands on time was therefore only about 40 minutes.
The service I received here was generally good, however the policies regarding their membership leave much to be desired. I was a member for nearly a year, then canceled after 1) discovering I was pregnant and 2) the covid pandemic hit.nI had nearly $200 in credits that expired because I was not willing to expose my unborn child to an unsafe environment, and didn't want to continue the membership given the uncertainty of the pandemic.nI understand that there are policies, but would expect more flexibility given the current state of affairs
So clean and beautiful! My massage was great. I even called on the same day (very last minute) and they were able to accommodate their schedule!
My boyfriend booked a couples massage here, which turned out to be very disappointing. We called the front desk before booking the massage and were told that we would get discounted rates since it was the first time at hand and stone for both of us. When we checked out we were hit with the surprise of paying double what we expected. Apparently the discount didn't apply because it was a couples massage. We felt conned. It was very frustrating that we were misinformed. My massage was good but his was poor quality. A waste of money.
I got recommended to Hand and Stone and bought a hour massage Wednesday. The front desk staff was amazing and so nice, but I don’t appreciate paying for a hour massage and getting a 40 minute massage, and even at that she didn’t even touch my shoulders or neck and she spent majority of the time on my legs and it was suppose to be a full body massage.
