Nice location. The front desk clerk Jessica was rude. Had us waiting on our room for 2 hours. Said they was not clean and this was after check in time at 3pm. When we got on the floor to go to our room I saw other rooms available ..so why I had to wait. Then the room was the worse. The heater worked sometimes., the refrigerator was not bolted down...each time I opened it I had to hold it because it moved. The bed was tore up. I have pictures. This was the worse I've ever stayed at a Hilton.
This location is out dated and run down. We have made many trips through this area and had the fortune of wonderful, clean locations. This is very disappointing. Broken lamp shade, stained furniture and worn out, holes worn in the carpet. I expect more from Hilton!nnCOVID is a real concern. 80% of the clients had no mask on in public space and a few staff had no mask in sight when we arrived. No staff attempted to address the mask regulation with those in the public space without them.nnIt appears they don’t move the furniture to vacuum. Crumbs and dust behind the chairs. I had to clean all the counters and handles with noticeable hand prints. They had clearly not been washednnThey have sign on the breakfast area saying they are maintaining a clean location for our safety. Apparently that means “we no longer offer breakfast”nnI suggest you look somewhere else for health, comfort and breakfast purposes. We had reservations that could not be changed. Don’t make the same mistake
zero stars If possible. Booked because we have always had amazing experience with hilton, after a 12 hour rainy drive I was not even greeted as I walked in. Grabbed the trolley for my bags, and the front desk lady says “bring it back down we have other guests checking in”. Mind you I have three kids with me under the age of 5. I am already struggling trying to hold all my kids and move the bags into the elevator. Then, call down for a crib and she says “yeah we have one but you have to come down and get it”. I have 3 kids!!! When my husband finally came up I told him to go get it. He had just finished grabbing the rest of our things from the car. Super inconvenient and then proceeds to tell him “bring it back down with you in the morning”. Never staying here again never in all the times we have stayed has it been so hard and inconvenient. We always make it known we have 3 kids so that noise isn’t an issue. She then calls and says “we got a noise complaint be quiet”. If we weren’t so exhausted from driving for 12 hours and lugging up all out luggage and kids we would have left. Ridiculous. The rooms are run down and old. Would have drove another hour just to stay at a nicer place.
This hotel is going to give Hilton a bad reputation.... The exterior, lobby and hallways all looked fine. The front desk staff was friendly. Our room, however, was in very poor disrepair... A dresser drawer was broken, the towel rack in shower was coming off wall, the safety bar in shower was not secure, the wood furniture was very worn. The lights in bathroom were rusted, wallpaper was coming off. Carpeting was stained and there were some dribble marks of who knows what on the ottoman.... Luckily, the bed and pillows were comfortable and we slept well after 12 hours in the car.
We booked one of the suites on the 2nd floor. Window started leaking so we were moved to the suite on the 3rd floor. That window started leaking. We were then moved to a suite smaller than the one we paid for on the first floor. Guess what happened?.. you got it! That window was leaking. We finally gave up and got a refund. Ladies at the desk were very apologetic but the condition of all three suites was awful.
