They made my dauggtrrs birthday cake and it was very good plus it was just what she wanted. She loved it!!! Thank you very much!!!
I submitted a request for a pretty simple custom cake, not very complicated. It involved fondant stripes on the sides with fondant stars on top. After a few days, received a call and a voicemail that basically said sorry, we cannot make this cake. You would think they would have said something along the lines of sorry we can’t make this, but we could do something different for you....nope, just a plain no.nnSo much for advertising custom cake work. I honestly think that should be removed from the website. The custom cakes pictured on their website had many that were way more involved than what I was requesting. I will taking my business elsewhere in the future to a more experienced bakery.
Love this place. Their cakes are amazing. They did our wedding cake for a very reasonable price and it tasted great. The variety of items available in store is very good, which is great when you don't have time to pre order something.
I have been going to Woodlea since I was a little girl. I am now 70 years old. I was so glad when they had moved a bakery up in Bel Air. The bakery goods are the best. Marshmallow donuts, cheese and custard pastries are my favorite. The hamburger rolls are delicious. I just love everything. I guess thats why I keep going back all these years.
I love this bakery--- especially their donuts-- called today and they kindly set aside 6 jelly for me-- fyi they will be traveling north to Cape Cod to share the amazingness ;)
