First time. Salon was great about pairing me with someone who knows how to work with my thick, wavy-ish, coarse hair, and Alisha was great! Friendly, knows what she's doing and I LOVE MY HAIRCUT! I'm growing out years of dye to let my natural color + grey emerge and she gave me a great cut + tips to make sure I look great in my last few months of transition.

The amazingly had a last minute availability for a haircut. Rachel The stylist did an amazing job for me doing a dry cut with a lot of hair! And I appreciated their screening for covid safety measures as soon as you walk in.

Michelangelos is in my opinion a very nice salon, it is local and everyone seems professional. It is also very clean and well upkept. My stylist seemed very nice, she was friendly and seemed to listen. I brought two 4-sided pictures of hairstyles with me. Both were styled so they were longer in the front and short I the back. She chose one that she said was cute and I have to be honest I love but have tried with not the best results. So I specifically asked if I had enough length in the front to make it work. I said the last time I tried someone, somewhere else it had no angle and was more like a bob all around. She said yes, no problem. So imagine my surprise when I am turned facing the mirror and my front length is gone. I mean there is no length in the front and the angle is actually shorter in the front. So I asked, she said she could not make it work. I did not argue, I paid because let's be honest if you give someone alot of grief odds are it will just transfer on to the next client. My concern is if you sit down with someone and they say we can do this and then change their mind and do something different without stopping and explaining and offering another option, or at least apologizing what was the point of going to a professional. What did I spend my hard earned money on? At this point just anger, I really do not care for this style at all and yes it will grow back, months from now. For example when your husband says that does NOT look anything like those pictures, that should explain it all.

This was my first visit to this salon and I was very pleased with my haircut. Christina spent a lot of time making sure it was just right and listened to me about my needs.

Christina gave me a great haircut. She really spent time taming my curly hair. She also gave me some great tips on how to maintain my sometimes unruly hair.
