Incorrect design. Tasted great but she completely failed on our design agreement. There was supposed to be a long sweeping bow and ribbon coming off the cake.nnThe color for one of our mini cakes was supposed to be gold. It was not.nnAdditionally she agreed that upon delivery our cake would be placed on its stand and they would add our gold leaves to the top tier. None of that happened. They simply dropped the cake off and left.
DO NOT PAY UPFRONT!nnPicture 1 is what she does.nPicture 2 is what was ordered.nPicture 3 is what what delivered.nnMy wild guess is that she did not make it. Not only did it look terrible but it tasted just as bad or worse than it looks. We had also ordered two additional cakes and paid upfront for them. When we called to cancel it took about a month to receive our refund back since she was traveling.nnShe was “nice” enough to squeeze us in to her busy schedule but I would’ve preferred that she be honest and just said no. This way she wouldn’t have jeopardized the quality of the cake, expectations, and the experience. We traveled two hours from and back to order AND pick up. She knew this and should’ve been mindful of it. Instead she dropped off the cake at a winery and left for us to go get it. We tried to get our money that same day but she was out which was an inconvenience. As a business owner, you should have someone in place to assure customers satisfaction upon delivery.nnIt was all a disaster and we will NEVER order from this place again. If you need a cake last minute or live far from her, run the other way! Do not pay upfront either unless you’re ready to wait 3-4 weeks for a refund + the time your bank will take to release!
