A & L Movers

I live south of Lake Charles, LA about 20 miles from the Gulf. After a hard hit from Hurricane Laura in August of 2020, local movers needed to get salvageable furniture from severely damaged homes were soon booked up. My daughter-in-law called A & L Movers. What a blessing they were to me, needing help and having recently lost my husband. They came with all the necessary moving equipment and went into action! They were so professional, courteous & skilled at what they do—carrying heavy items from my two-story home and loading them onto their company truck with its own lift. They worked hard and fast! Not only did they save my furniture, but also my peace of mind at the time. Now, after months of reconstruction , it’s move-in time! My first experience with A & L was so good, they were the first company I called. I can honestly say, they out-did themselves. The workers are high quality guys whom I felt truly wanted us to be pleased. They’re either trained well or just of good character, but in my opinion, either speaks well of a company.

We used them last time because the moving date was sooner than a Lake Charles company could move us. We ended up having a wonderful experience & we called them again this time because they did such a great job even though they’re located in Lafayette. Gavin & Chris were on time, very polite, conscious about not scratching or damaging anything. Both very hard workers and made it easier to get the job done. Highly recommend this company!!

This is a schemer campaign against two of the hardest working, most honest guys I know who built A&L from nothing. If you’re really looking for a great moving company, then look no further. A&L Movers has moved my family and I on four different occasions. They are the most professional, respectful and punctual moving company I’ve ever worked with. Their pricing was straight forward and honest and at the end of the move, the pricing was exactly what was agreed upon in the beginning. Their movers were extremely careful and professional and treated our belongings as if they were their own. I’d recommend A&L any day for any move. Don’t let the comments of folks who have never experienced their services influence your decision on moving your entire life. These are good, hardworking, and honest men doing a honorable job.

These gentlemen have performed several moves for my family. Each time the move was done efficiently and in a timely manner. The quote and terms were straight forward from the very beginning and throughout the process. Every employee we dealt with was professional in appearance and conduct. I hope to never move again but if I do, I’ll always use A&L Movers.
