Murphy's Guitars is probably my favorite place to get music equipment. All the guys that work there are fantastic and can tell you all about all the instruments that they have there and get you an instrument that fits what you're looking for! Every time I go in there hasn't been one time where I haven't been helped and had all my questions answered. Also I've heard that their lessons are fantastic!
Fantastic service! The fellow who helped me was friendly and knowledgeable as he answered all my questions, but my transaction, while incredibly pleasant, was pretty straightforward and unremarkable (just in for strings and a practice amp). More impressive was watching one of the workers run to catch the lady before me on her way out of the store. He had spotted a defect on the back/bottom edge of the acoustic guitar she was buying that she hadn't noticed. They made sure she left with a different one of the same model that wasn't damaged. I've had experience dealing with plenty of shadier shops before this one that would have been glad to be rid of a defected instrument. I will absolutely be returning to Murphy's for all my gear needs in the future.
Awesome guitar shop with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great selection of guitars, strings, amps, pedals, bass guitars, and more. I've had 5 guitars worked on there and they are great with repairs and setups.
What a great community of people, it's always fun to go in. Great service from great people 100 percent would recommend to a friend. Look Kellen I did it.
