Furniture Mart Lafayette

I purchased furniture in full. I called before purchasing and ask when it would be in, sales rep told me 7 days. I left work went purchase furniture i asked again and was told 7 days. After the 7 day-I called to get status the Lafayette store told me driver didn't go out and she didn't know when our furniture was coming. I called again and i was told driver went out but don't know if furniture can fit on truck. Then we asked them to cx order and refund me my money. Sales lady stated we would have to pay a 20% restocking fee. I called Baton Rouge office sales man told me that was incorrect and we should be credit in full. He then let me speak with his manager and she stated she was sorry for what happen and let me know she escalated to VP of company he would call me back at the end of the day. That didn't happen. I called 2 more times same thing VP will call. I have never had a problem with any other furniture company like this company. No answer No solution.. I'm started to think attorney will need to get involved...This is bad business

After making a good purchase on chest of drawers I ordered a Sofa. I ordered this sofa on 7-17-20 and payed in full. I was told with COVID 19 Virus going on it would take time to get from China which is understandable. The original delivery date was supposed to be 8-14-20. This of course did not happen and I was never informed. I then went into store on 9-11-20 where I was informed that my delivery would be made 9-28-20. This of course this also did not happen. I then called the store 10-2-20 where they told me over the phone that my sofa was not ordered on 7-17-20 and they would like to deliver it on 10-12-20. I did not find that this was satisfactory so I asked for a refund later in the day in person. Instead of giving back my money at this point I was given a number to the sales department. The sales department with orders from the VP said the best they could do would be giving me store credit. So after almost 3 months they could not even give me my money back they have to give it to me as store credit at a store I shall never shop at again. Beware that all purchases from this company is stated on the Receipt all Sales are FINAL. I will say this though that the guys at the Main warehouse where more helpful and nice than the people in stores. Be aware. I have an updates as of 10-19-20. I was offered by the sales department for a full refund even though all sales of final if I take this review down.

Good furniture and prices. The only thing I'm upset about is the only reason I came in here is because they said take home today and no payment needed. But once I did the finance stuff they told me I needed to make a payment. Instead of making a payment I just paid it out cash. Then they told me it would be a two week wait on my furniture because it's in Gretna, LA. So once my bed showed up two weeks later they told me they forgot to ship one part which would be another two week wait and I told them I don't mind driving to gentna. They said I couldn't do that.

Rude staff and awful selection of furniture.nNo one greeted us, or even acknowledged we had walked in. The store manager played on her phone, only glancing once as we walked out. Don’t waste your time!

The young black lady that works there need to drink some energy drinks and take a happy pill. It seems like this place is closing. They have non matching chairs with tables and have the audacity for the price to be expensive, but all Lafayette furniture stores are lacking furniture with horrible customer service.
