DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE when you’re in Leavenworth. The owners could not be more lovely and the baked goods are out of this world good. Really nice variety of sweets, breads, and pretzels! I tried a salted pretzel, almond wheel, German bread, pretzel roll and the bee sting cake, and they were all amazing, (but especially the cake and the pretzel.) A must stop whenever I’m passing through.
Even though the bakery is on the outskirts of the “down town” area, it is a must see. The staff are very personable and give wonderful suggestions based on your taste. We lived in Germany for a few years, this bakery is the closest we have come to a true German pretzel and bread. Their rosemary bread is heavenly, and their prices are lower than competitors in the area.
Amazing pastries. Our favorite of the day by far. We will be headed back on our next trip to Leavenworth!
Really enjoyed the pretzel. Had a good crunch on the outside and soft on the inside.
We ate our pasteries before I could take a picture but the apple strudel was delicious tasked like apple pie. My husbands eclair wasok he said the filling was boring.
