Because of covid we had not driven the 18 miles there in over a year. I called first and they are observing proper distancing. The food has always been great and still is fantastic. They still have all the bakery selections too. If it is your first time ask for a lemon sugar cookie, and your first one is free. The menu is both upscale and really good sandwiches and soups. I would make a reservation first. Only open for lunch right now. I'm just a regular person who loves really good food.

An absolute hidden gem !! This place is awesome!! Excellent food and staff!! It was our first time here but we will definitely be back!! The butter herb Grilled chicken, broccoli and mashed potatoes were delicious!! Oh and I can’t leave out the homemade strawberry cake!! Highly recommend this place!!

Amazing food and service. A definite hidden gem in the little town of Hawkinsville. I highly recommend the Shrimp Po' boy if you like a little spice with a whole lot of flavor. The bistro cheesesteak is very flavorful and tender as well.nTheir baked goods taste as great as they look.nnThis place has a little something for everyone and every tastebud. Highly highly HIGHLY recommend making the drive here to have lunch.

The rustic bistro is one of my favorite places to eat here in Hawkinsville. I have not had one thing that I didn’t love off of their menu (but my fav is pesto pizza or garlic bread grilled cheese!) and their house made chips are the best dipped in their ranch. This is easily one of my favorite lunch spots, however it’s not always easy to go on my lunch break. The staff is slow when ringing out orders or waiting on people. I also think there are some things that need to be worked out among the staff, because almost everytime (3 in a row at least) I have witnessed 2 of the girls arguing with each other, or having an attitude towards each other. So the food is great, but customer service could use a little work. On one occasion a staff member even acted as if she didn’t hear me when I asked for something. I love the rustic bistro and will always be a loyal customer, but I think they need to evaluate their staff members.
