Great experience as usual at any Publix I shop at. I was greeted at least 5 times by employees in the aisles, often asking if they could help find what I was looking for. Checkout was a breeze, especially having a nice young lady, Julia, unload my cart onto the checkout belt, pushing my cart to my car, and loading the items in the back. All with a happy disposition. It felt like a ChicFilA service experience.
I am shocked at the small portion size of food at this location! My family usually does chicken finger Friday from Publix’ hot deli. I was coming from across town and stopped at this location rather than my usual. I will NEVER do that again! 1. The chicken tenders are half the size of our usual location 2. The onion rings were slightly larger than a quarter (compared to the palm size rings at my usual location) 3.They use a mashed potato scoop to plate your sides (similar to a skilled living facility) 4. The take-out containers are portioned and at least 1/4 smaller than our usual. Even with the smaller than normalnPotato wedges and onion rings, I still only got 3 onion rings and 4 fries bc they are in such small takeout partitions. My 10 year old usually only eats half his meal, but tonight finished his meal and asked for more food.nI understand there can be some difference from store to store, but in all my years of purchasing from various Publix locations, this has got to be the bottom of the barrel for food portion and quality.
Of all the Publix's I've been to, this is the only one where I've had bad customer service. Not just subpar customer service, but bad customer service.
This is a smaller Publix compared to 2 others that are nearby but it has the advantage of being less crowded during peak visitor times as shown by Google maps display of how busy it is hour by hour.
This is a great Publix to shop at. It is always clean, the staff are friendly and eager to help. They even offer to carry your groceries to your car if you'd like.
