U-Haul Moving & Storage of Forest Park

We were at u-haul on 4374 Thurman Rd. And l had a very good experience and the customer service was very good with Xavier Wright he was very happy and excited about his job.

This is a great Uhaul dealer.

I rented a truck on December 13th and it took over an hour to retrieve my uhaul. There was only 1 person on duty. Her name started with an T and last name Brown. I was waiting do long I thought retrieving the uhaul on my phone will help but no. The mileage on the truck was 37000 and the mileage in the system was 3400 so it didn't let me complete the process. I also reserved movers with uhaul for 2 hours but an hour of my time was wasted trying to get the rental I lost time and had to pay the movers additional funds for their service which was understandable because it's not their fault. I then requested uhaul refund me of the additional payment I had to pay the movers and they denied my request stating its not there fault. I knew not to go to this location but it was only 5 minutes from my storage unit. Never again will I go here and do not recommend this location to anyone. They also allowed an homeless man to walk around inside the store and he was in people personal space. It's ok that you all let him get some heat but it will he smart if you advise him to not be in your customers personal space.

The manager and another employee laughed and giggled as I came in a hurry because it was raining . I slipped on the blue painted handicap sign and down I went . I took a big chunk of my knee out and was bleeding down my leg. I got one employee after a few minutes of laughter to ask if I was ok. Wrong part of town. God forbid I was bleeding out as I would have been dead before anyone came out to help me up. Perhaps a lawyer is needed.

DO NOT use this location nor UHaul at all. I was charged the initial fee + an additional day fee + the final fee. I will NEVER use their services again.nnIt is a complete and utter scam. I initially requested it for another location 2minutes from my house but got a message for this location. I got the truck and had to keep it for an additional day. Mind you the clerk told me that if I go over that they would confirm and charge my card. Instead on the day I got a call from a manager from another location stating he was going to call the police and report the truck stolen after me not answering the phone one call(while I’m moving heavy furniture). He called the secondary number and I spoke to him, informed him, he said ok and hung up. Then I got a call from the store and the clerk asked why hadn’t I called to check in and I was like I just spoke to someone! And she was like you didn’t talk to anyone. Fast forward... I turn the truck in the next day and the clerk says would be charged one price and instead I was charged the initial fee + an additional day fee + the final fee... now with current tech advances why would would your only possible option be to overcharge your customers because of an obsolete charge method when you have a rapid check in app. Which makes me believe UHaul has no concern in keeping new nor old customers. I will NEVER use their services again.
