U-Haul Moving & Storage of Bountiful

Was never told that there was a $20 late drop off fee. I explained when I rented that I was going to drop it off that night late. I even turned it in 2 days earlier than was allotted. Then they tried to say they charge the $20 to protect me since someone could have stolen the trailer, ha.

They cancelled my scheduled appointments several times, but didn't call or text, so that I'd show up only to be turned away. I have a Pilot that I wanted a wiring harness put on, and a Jeep Renegade that I wanted a hitch and harness put on. After the work finally got done I hooked both vehicles up to an old pop-up I'd just bought. No lights came on the trailer from either; so I figured, must be a problem w/the pop-up. I called a mobile RV repair, & when they came out they found nothing wrong w/the pop/up, but rather, multiple ills w/the U-Haul work. For one thing, I'm told it's sloppy; and lazy, as a wire that comes w/the harness is intended to be run all the way to the car battery, but instead they just spliced it in at the hitches. Unless you run it all the way to the battery, the emergency blinkers won't work on the trailer unless the car is running. The sloppy cut-out on the Pilot's bumper resulted in a nicked wire. A bolt was missing from one side of the pig-tail joinery on the Pilot, so that plugging in to it was difficult, resulting in poor contact, resulting in no lights. Also the wiring to the allow the trailer battery to be charged from the car alternator when running, wasn't made. On the Jeep there was the same lazy/incorrect wire splicing, and also the hitch wasn't bolted snug to the body, so that there are open bolt threads showing. The trailer lights weren't working from off the Jeep because they never explained that a separate joinery part I had to go back and buy--after getting home initially and finding what they had on didn't mate--had to be both plugged in, and *then*, also, had to have a separate wire, wired in. That would have been nice to know up front instead of finding out the hard way. All in all, their communication was awful, as was their work. Edit: I recently tried to power a pump to blow up an air mattress from the cigarette lighter in the Renegade's rear. No juice. Looking behind the fuse panel I found they had installed the pigtail by severing the wires to the cigarette lighter and using them for power. Again, that's wrong wiring; plus, they just left the cut cigarette wires to dangle, not reconnected to juice. What... did they think I'd never use that receptacle, not find out?? Bozos.

Top notch service from the rockstar Jeff! I have had a few interactions with him. He is always so very helpful and professional. Honestly he has made my experience with uhual so much better than I imagined it was going to be. So thank you Jeff.

Jeff and his folks are fantastic!!! I had a problem en-route from Texas to Seattle. Jeff and Terry took great care of me. Super had working and helpful. I can't thank them enough and I highly recommend this location.

Easy pick up and drop off. You will need to pick drop off and pick up locations, don't assume you can just drop it off at any location. It's just like a rental car, but quicker and easier. I definitely would recommend them.
