Comfort Inn Newport News - Hampton I-64

Hotel policies are a scam me n my bf where stay over...every two days deposit came out & they never refunded all my deposit amounts. Hotel tampered with my account. Then refused to provide my refund. Some of the made me aware of what the hotel was doing when checking out on 12/28/20 the staff lied & said other Coworkers told false information. Due to further investigation with corporate they confirmed what the staff that told me what the hotel was doing was correct. Corporate just as worse didn't provide any assistance with getting my refund. Only offered points & one free night at the hotel. After the hotel & corporation tampered with my account. My bf & I spent a week there. We spent $600 during that stay & also paid $100 deposit every 2 dys. As explained I didn't receive all my deposit amounts & neither did I get my refund request during my stay there!!!

Horrible experience that definitely could have been worst. I booked this room a month ago and I used my prepaid credit card. The night before my arrival they ran my card. I got a Chime notification saying it was declined. I called at 5 something in the morning to remind them I'm still coming and explained about the reason why I don't put my card down is because I had a hotel charge me and then recharged me for the hotel because they never received the payment. Anyway the lady said I will note the reservation and I told her I'll be there early around 1. I got there at 145 and the reservation was canceled. What if she couldn't reinstate it and give me the same rate? I would have made a 4 hour trip a nightmare. The nice lady was able to get my room back. I asked for a late checkout at 1230. I knew I had a 2 hour counseling session that started at 10. My husband called me at 1130 and said he standing outside because the housekeeping staff said no one told them. Poor communication when I have given enough time. I will never stay there again. The room was nice and clean which is really sad this has happened. This hotel is literally 10 mins from my doctors office. To be done like this shows me to find another hotel for my upcoming monthly appointments. The worst experience. The 2 stars are for the room experience. I give it no stars for customer service and being liars.

My favorite place to stay in Newport News. Fast and easy online reservations. Quick check in. Rooms clean and tidy.

Only problem I had was my room was by the back exit door and they kept goin out of it waking me up out my sleep but other than tht it was alright

Was very clean, nice staff, made sure you had everything every day, but DID NOT get my deposit back. and i’m not sure why.
