New ownership and same stories of neglect that we’ve read on here and have heard from personal friends and social workers in the area. The only difference is that my brother and I are now seeing it first hand with our mother. 30 minutes to answer a phone. Ring doorbell and wait and wait and wait....door shut and we can see our mother through the window choking but they shut the doors and don’t hear her cries for help.
The staff and new administration are wonderful. Friendly, professional, and devoted to patient care. The facility is clean and they are doing an excellent job in the face of all of the challenges presented by COVID.
Meghan and Ebone are amazing and always help! I know that they provide excellent care to their patients! Keep up the good work!

The staff at Newport News Nursing and Rehab took great care of my mom! The rehab department did a great job working with my mother to make sure she was improving with her mobility and the social work team had a very organized, safe plan for her to return home from the beginning. Anytime I had a question the management was available and friendly. I was always met with a smile when I came through the door. Would definitely reach out to them again for any of my loved ones needs.
