Good service in tech dept..helpfull associates.

I visited staples for the first time and I was very excited to look at the art supplies and canvases they had. I had just come from Walmart and they had been sold out of laptops, as I walked in it was a very uncomfortable welcome as the workers didn’t really smile or say hi, they just stared and looked away but I shrugged it off because a long day at work can be tiring. After looking around at their laptops for a few minutes I was greeted by a worker. I’m not going to say who they were, but he/she asked if I need help finding anything. I replied with a yes and told them my budget for a laptop, I had been saving for a short while and only had so much to work with. (250-300$) Walmart has several in my price range but they happened to be sold out of literally everything so I assumed that staples might have a laptop of my price range. The worker then told me there was nothing of that price and I said that was okay, getting ready to look at the art supplies. He/she then said “maybe you should apply for a credit card if you don’t have enough.” I found that kind of invasive mostly because I’m only 16 and It was none of him/hers business to openly say in front other customers for me to apply for a credit card if I couldn’t afford it. Again, I shrugged it off. Like I said, people can have bad days. I then walked over to the art section and I couldn’t find what items came in a package, and asked if he/she could tell me if it came with a specific item, he/she shortly looked at me with a weird look, as if I didn’t even look at the item, and then realized that there was no description on the item of what comes in the pack and informed me that they didn’t know. I understand that employees may not know everything about store items but it would have been nice if they would have attempted to help me. I really like the store because they had great art supplies and decent prices, I was just really sad with the customer service. But everyone has off days, other wise it’s a great store and would totally recommend their art supplies, they are in great condition and decent prices. Staples is genuinely a great store and I’m excited to buy art supplies from them, I just hope next time the customer service will be a bit kinder and more helpful. The customer service needs some work mostly because it was an unwelcoming environment and there wasn’t much help at all, especially the lack of respect/kindness towards the customers.

Huge shout-out to Staples! I had an issue with some business cards that were suppose to be double sided and when I went to pick them up they were not. The girl at the counter didn't really seem interested in fixing the issue and maybe she was having an off day but when I got the review request in my email almost immediately I definitely let them know I wasn't happy. Today the Store Manager Johnny came into my work to hand deliver the remade business cards I originally ordered, he apologized and explained it was an issue with their website and Cinnamon (whom I've worked with before and loved) was able to retrieve the design I needed to fix it! Staples you have redeemed yourself and I thank you VERY much for your professionalism and care for your Customers!

Do not buy a laptop here. Or any computer. Tech support cant help you with any issues. Also you'll be paying $100 for insurance with antivirus service for only 2 years. And when your pc has an issue and you need to return it. You cant return it in the store. You have to call a company and ship your computer out for 10 days having it gone forever and recieve the same computer 10 days later. Waist of time. Waist of money. Go on new egg for a computer. Or amazon. Or ebay.

Staples in solid I try and take pictures of my kids while I have them there she's because I have gas about it 's longevity considering the online nature of the future of sales. That being said Staples has oh you could ask for any break-in mortar store great customer service, and exceptional stock in house, knowledgeable staff.
