I stopped here with some friends from out of town for lunch. I expected the usual bar grill fare; what a wonderful surprise when the food came. I ordered a burger for $10 that includes a potato choice. But opted for the tomato Basil bisque. The soup was incredibly delicious. I was told that the chef makes the soup fresh each day from scratch. I wanted a cheese burger and I had my choice of a number of cheeses finally went with the cheddar instead of the smoked Gouda. The burger was premium black angus with fresh crisp lettuce and fresh sliced tomato. If you are within 100 miles of Portal Arizona or Rodeo New Mexico (it is right on the state line between the two) it is definitely worth driving the distance for. They also have a large selection of bottled sodas and beer and wine.

Jeff and his team catered our 25-person artist retreat that was in the area and we were blown away! Each meal was balanced, healthy, and absolutely delicious. Jeff was also very accommodating with our catering schedule and dietary restrictions, and gave us lots of helpful tips for exploring the area. We hope we can visit again, and will definitely have Sky Islands cater our next trip!

The staff were so friendly! The potato salad was heavenly and the shop was lovely. A very clean and friendly environment, highly recommended on your way to Portal, AZ.

More of a grill and restaurant than a store. Great food and service. Store has the bare minimum. Didn't have a charging cable for my phone.
