With an extensive selection of great entrees and daily specials it will be hard to save room for the outstanding desserts. Special touches like fresh bread that's more than plain, when we came it had sundried tomatoes could make saving room hard. If need be, take it to go. We ordered the Oregon berry pie, creme brulee, and pumpkin bread pudding. All amazing. With entrees soups and more in refrigerated cases ready for takeout, bringing supper home is simple. Very well done, wished we lived closer it would easily become our go to restaurant.

Had the pleasure of eating at the Colonial House on our vacation to the Rapid City area. Another couple and I could not eat here often enough. The coconut pie, cinnamon rolls, danish and eggs Benedict were the best we have had in a very long time. Hollandaise was fresh! We were able to sit with Janice one of the wait staff many times. She was delightful and remembered our orders and likes. Out hats off to her for her great service. Everyday our friends and my husband and I wish for a Colonial House in our town. Do not miss this stop in Rapid City area. But order dessert first as it sells out fast! Sit with Janice if you get the chance. Be sure to try the coconut pie too!

the food was excellent the customer service lacked a lot of attention the waitress forgot things and left us hanging paid more attention to all the other customers that she had we were there first and she still forgot our jelly and my friend found a hair in her food they did Clump her meal because of the hair but the waitress lacked some customer service skills and you need to pay attention to all of your guests she forgot our Tabasco sauce and our jelly and made we had to wait for it and wait for it and it never showed up until we reminded her and there was only when we started there was only one table and then more tables came in and she still forgot our stuff so we had to remind her two or three times to get our jelly and our Tabasco sauce and I had to get my Tabasco sauce from the other waitress

Loved it! The food was amazing! Best pot roast I've had in a long time! The service was fast and food was hot. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful! We are from Omaha, NE, so we took a chance. So glad we did!

Food was ok, server didn't bring out all the dishes until they were told, steak was cooked fine, just not a good piece of meat, upside was the dessert
