The store is always in great condition. The movie section has dwindled drastically and its not really fun to shop there anymore. Geek squad is amazing at their jobs, and the sales people are very knowledgeable and accommodating.
I had a terrible experience at Best Buy in Rapid City, SD. I stopped in and picked out a car radio on November 13, 2020. I was assured that all parts were available for installation the next day. When I went in, I was told that some of the parts weren't there and on order. So we set another installation date for Nov. 22. I went in on that day, waited around for an hour or more and got a call from the tech saying that they had a wrong part and would have to order it and it should be in a week. I stopped in yesterday, Nov. 25, and checked on the part. IT HAD NEVER BEEN ORDERED. I returned the radio and got a full refund.nWhile I was in the store the first time, 2 other customers were complaining about service and things not working. I will never again set foot in the Rapid City Best Buy.nIn addition, your workers need more training, Several of them passed me on to other employees because they didn't know how to handle things.
The staff is very friendly and willing to help. I was greeted at the door and shown where to look for my item. They had masks and sanitizer available upon entering. Although I was not able to find what I was looking for, the information and knowledge shared with me made it possible to narrow my search.
I didn't get a replacement printer even though I had the factory warranty still in effect. I also had an extended warranty that I paid for. They couldn't repair it so they gave me refund for store credit. I was very dissatisfied and will no longer shop there. I will not recommend Best Buy to anyone.ud83dude21
