Employees are always friendly even during the pandemic. So glad that we have a Costco in Rochester.
I have been a Costco member for several years and this would have been five stars until recently. Their new self checkout systems are inadequate. They have a tray to place your item after scanning which does not have enough capacity to accurately detect a full cart of merchandise. The system does not allow you to remove items mid way so you have to do multiple purchases but you have nowhere to put the items from the first purchase before starting the next because your cart still has stuff in it.nnThe insufficient self checkout would not be a big problem if it wasn't for the major reduction in traditional checkout lanes since the self checkout was installed. It now seems the traditional lines are twice as long because they have half or fewer lanes open.
Always pleasant. Quick checkout even when it seems it will take forever. Very nice that they have installed self checkout now.
Good pizza
Great prices on food and especially gas. Everytime I'm in the area I fill up on gas, even when not completely necessary. Staff is fairly nice however you can run into people having a bad day.
