I special ordered a Banana Cake with Cream Cheese frosting for my Mom’s birthday. It was entirely made from scratch. The only decorating request was to write “Happy Birthday Mom” on top. I was pleasantly surprised they would deliver on a Saturday 16 miles away from their bakery. Mom was completely surprised. The cake was pretty and tasted absolutely amazing!!
I came all the way from Atlanta to get our Hummingbird cake. No one makes them better than Daniel and Catherine at Country View. Also left with homemade granola (several varieties), MI cherry preserves and a pumpkin roll that melts in your mouth. They offer a wide variety of baked goods, baking supplies and even fresh pasta noodles. Easy to place orders and they even went to the the Post Office to ship cakes to my elderly parents in MT.
Bought some oatmeal, Chocolate chip and heath bar cookies that are amazing. Also got a double cheeseburger with bacon for my dad, which he said was one of the best burgers he's had.
My family and I stopped in this afternoon to get some bread but left with so much more! The experience was AMAZING! Great service and even better bread and desserts! We got some raisin bread for french toast it was LITERALLY THE BEST we ever had! So many raisins! It was great! you can never have too many!! I work at a bakery near East Detroit but this bakery is ten times better. Thank you so much for your hospitality and the great food! Will definitely come back every time we are in town!
