My daughter and I stopped in here because she was looking for a new chefs knife. The man who came out to help us was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful! It was clear that he was a knife expert (and I believe a knife maker as well), yet he never came across as condescending, nor did he seem impatient with any of our questions and in fact seemed genuinely excited to tell us all about the amazing knives he carried in the store. My daughter ended up purchasing a Japanese Chef’s knife that she is extremely happy with! I would highly recommend making a stop at Strata!!
Great little shop! I brought my girlfriend by to pick out a new chef’s knife, and the staff was extremely helpful in explaining the different options. Left with a beautiful new knife that my girlfriend loves.
Ryan was super helpful in getting me sorted out with products to start practicing some polishing. Super knowledgeable and easy to work with. You can just tell that they are giant knife nerds. He also gave me a recommendation that saved me a bit of money in the end!
