Recorded and album there last year and had a wonderful time! Dont let the size fool you, everything you need to record a great album is right there for you! Joe is an absolute pleasure to work with too! He makes recording easy for that artists and really allows you to let yourself shine through on the recording. I've been to studios before where the sound engineer tries to shape the album how THEY want it. Not here! I would highly recommend Pint Size Studios to anyone I meet!
This is a stunning studio, not far from downtown Crystal Lake. Studio instruments, amps, and equipment on hand. The studio is absolutely killer for recording full bands, but just as great for individual artists. The owner is a wonderful guy and will work at getting the product you record to reflect what sound or vibe you're going for.
Joe is the best! We have put out a LP with his help in 2009 and an EP with him in 2016. We are so comfortable with him and his amazingly cozy studio that we plan to do another release with him this coming spring! One of the best experiences we have had a musicians!nHighly recommended!!!
