I’m a 60 year old Caucasian male with coarse, curly facial hair. I’ve been using electric shavers my entire adult life. Only certain brands give me a close comfortable shave.nMy Remington “Black Man’s Electric Shaver” died. I figured, OK I will buy the same thing to replace, as it’s pretty old.nTurns out, they don’t make it anymore. I did some internet research and could not find a replacement electric razor that had consistent good reviews for guys like me.nMike, owner of Shaver Shop of Evanston to the rescue. Note; three other mall based shaver shops that I used over the last 40 years had all closed.nMike had to source three different vendors to find replacement batteries that could be soldered to my razor’s motherboard. Once that was done, I was back in business.nMike does mail order repairs of electric razors for customers across the USA.

Bought new blades for my trimmer he put them on in back I believe he on old blades my trimmer was better before. He lost a long time customer.

I stopped spending money here after more than one occasion of rude customer service. The owner was very rude and disrespectful. I had enough and found other service suppliers for my grooming needs.
