A gem of small town Iowa! This is a delicious bakery and coffee shop. Their donuts are phenomenal!! Lots of bread and pie, plus local salsa, honey, jam, and other products. Definitely a must-visit if you're passing by Walnut on I-80!
Their is really no other was to say it other than that you only have to step out of your car and you smell Robert's Bakery. Could hardly wait to make our purchase and taste the treats. Wonderful place only a mile off the big road in Walnut.
I had the pecan topped cinnamon roll and it knocked my socks off. They had many different items to choose from so I enjoyed a taste of my friends items too. What a treat it was to have tried this bakery. And the icing on the cake was that I went home with two bird figurines wrapped up for safe travels. They have antiques available in the store for purchase. Don't miss this charming place.
