I hate to be writing this review. I wish every hair stylist was just awesome all the time. I don’t like calling people out publicly, but I cannot sleep without warning you that I left Roots today with lopsided hair. Completely different volume AND length from left to right. Even when I push the hair behind my ears, the difference is obvious. It’s very embarrassing and I need to go somewhere to get it fixed. I wouldn’t even expect this from a $20 HairCuttery cut. I paid $52 here. If you have (or are changing to) a short cut, I cannot recommend Roots.

Amy did my hair and did an amazing job! She was attentive to detail and gave me exactly what I was looking for in my hair cut and color. Not only was Amy amazing, but so was the facility. They took great precautions to ensure the safety of me and the staff while I got my hair done. I appreciated the clean environment that Amy was working in as well. The products used left my hair feeling healthy and refreshed! Not only feeling good but my hair also smelt amazing from the natural products that they use in the shop. I suggest for everyone to check out roots for an amazing cut and color!

My Daughter wanted all of her thick, long hair cut off into a specific style she had a photo of.nEmily was great! Not only did she nail the cut, but she was super friendly and made my daughter feel at ease. No uncomfortable small talk unless brought up from us (which I usually don't) but she's fun and easy to talk to. No sticker shock at the register, and worth every penny and a generous tip if you can!

We loved the low stress and quiet/ calming effect the salon has. Not all the hustle and bustle of some other places. It was my daughters 1st salon experience and I was very pleased with how it was handled. I'm very anxious about getting my hair cut but Emily really put me at ease. There was absolutely NO PRESSURE. It was a real pleasure and we're both happy with our new cuts. Highly recommend. Thanks again!

After my experience at this salon, I have determined never to let anyone, let alone anyone there, touch my hair again. I walked in with hair that brushed the backs of my knees and asked for it to be cut to my tailbone knowing that my natural texture would fluff up a little, and she cut it higher anyway. The stylist was excessively rough with my head, to the point where I have sore spots on my scalp from her yanking on my hair, and she seemed surprised that so much hair was coming out while she ripped away. I regret coming to this establishment, and I will not recommend it to anyone I care about.
