They did such a good job setting up my mandolin that it literally feels better than new. My muscle memory of where I have to keep my hands and how hard I have to push on the strings is way off now, but that's a good thing! They're getting all my setup work from now on.
The people are very friendly. However, I would not recommend for amplifier repair. I have taken my guitar amp in two times for the same issue, only to have it returned to me with the issue still in tact, even after work has been performed. The person that performs service on amplifiers does not ever seem to be available and does not return phone calls, so expressing concerns does not seem possible.
Been playing violin for 30 years now, recorded and performed professionally, and let me say I did my homework before bringing my cherished #1 violin to Josh, and I'm so glad that I did. Had some damage to the trim repaired, new bridges cut, fingerboard refinished, body sealed, and I gotta say he does truly amazing work. Body was chipped and missing a piece of trim, no joke, I never thought it would look the same again. Josh's repair is seamless. Truly unbelievable craftsmanship. I'll be back again for sure and I can't recommend him highly enough.
