I absolutely adore this place! It’s a great spot to sit outside on a sunny day and enjoy a coffee, light lunch, or sweet treat. The salads are delicious! They also have cute cards and decorations if you need to celebrate someone on the fly. Very cute
What a fantastic addition to the neighborhood! Their oat milk latte with cinnamon and honey is my new go to when I want to treat myself and I can't get enough of the sour cream cake they sell by the slice. The staff makes you feel like you're being welcomed into their home. 10/10 couldn't recommend more.
I stopped by a few days after they opened and will definitely be going back! I’ve always been a fan of something savory for breakfast, so I tried the savory monkey bread and I was not disappointed. The cheese added a nice crunch to the crust, while the inside was incredibly soft and buttery. The staff was friendly and the coffee delicious: hot and strong.
The staff is incredibly friendly! We were pleasantly surprised that the cold brew is so tasty! I've had the biscuit (twice) and my husband had the ham and cheese croissant. Both were great! I look forward to trying the tres leches cake next.
I’d skip this place and level up across the street at Elizabeth Street where you can get both delicious decaf coffee drinks and way better croissants. Similar to Seventh Flag, they don’t serve decaf which is a real shame for a new neighborhood shop catering to lots of moms in the local area who are pregnant and/or nursing and therefore avoiding caffeine. I’ve given them two shots and both times their service fell short. I waited for ages to check out the first time I went there even though my items were ready to go; they didn’t have a good flow down and held the line up. I waited for 10 minutes just to pay for a cookie (which also should note was not good at all, go to Tiny’s for real chocolate chip cookies). I chalked it up to them being new and figuring it out since it was their opening weekend. I went back for a second try and ordered something different, a croissant, it was cold (even though I asked for it heated) and no better than Costco quality. The servers were rude about not having decaf (I inquired again whether they’d be getting decaf, nope) and the downward spiral of poor customer service continued when I tried to pay with cash. There are no signs stating that they’re not taking cash, but I got a huge attitude about it when I did try to pay with cash. Maybe post a sign if you’re scared of accepting cash during Covid, be helpful not rude to your customers. I also feel strongly that not accepting cash discriminates against lower income folks who don’t always have credit cards, etc. I’m fortunate to not be in that situation, but I’ve stopped supporting places that are essentially discriminating against lower income folks who need to pay with cash. When I mentioned my disappointment with now my second my experience there, I left a wide opening for them to make it right and offer a better experience next time, but the server just blankly stood there with an annoyed look on her face. Do yourself a favor and walk across the street to Elizabeth Street. You won’t be disappointed. Always friendly service, delicious decaf drinks and way better croissants, brunch and treats.
